The stillness can feel unsettling at first, but I like to think that it carries a rare kind of permission: it’s a season that asks nothing of us except to pause, reflect, and go inward. We’re given space to rest, recalibrate, and to observe where we are and where we want to go. In this painting, growth is happening quietly beneath the surface, reminding us that not all progress needs to be visible to be meaningful.
