This piece draws inspiration from the rugged, iron-stained trails of Northern Minnesota’s "Iron Range" in early spring. Layers of warm ochre and deep sienna echo the iron ore beneath the surface- rich with history, while emerging greens and soft gray skies suggest nature’s slow reclaiming of the industrial past. These portraits of a landscape that's been shaped by both human hands and seasonal cycles- is a place where beauty and history intertwine.
